Job summary

Nearmap is seeking a Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor across the pre- and post-sales lifecycle. You will demonstrate Nearmap’s Imagery, 3D, and AI products, translate customer needs into scalable solutions, and work with sales to drive adoption and value.

You will collaborate with technical and executive stakeholders, lead challenging conversations, and guide customers through API and data integration while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g. Solutions Engineer).
• Proven pre-sales track record with influence on technical buying decisions and driving customer success.
• Domain expertise in Engineering, Construction, Property, or Geospatial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discovery engagements to understand workflows, data ecosystems, and business challenges.
• Shaped client strategy and solution architecture and built executive relationships across pre-sales and post-sales.
• Design and deliver tailored demos and scalable demonstrations showing Nearmap product value.
• Identify upsell opportunities and advise on APIs, offline products, and custom applications.
• Lead integration and onboarding for new customers with hands-on technical support.
