Job summary

Zeekr Sydney City is seeking an experienced, commercially driven General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead the overall sales operations and performance of our automotive dealership. This senior leadership role carries full accountability for sales volume, gross profitability, stock management, customer experience and the performance of the sales team.

Working closely with the Director, the GSM will develop and execute dealership sales strategies, manage budgets and forecasts, optimise stock and gross

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a sizeable automotive sales team and departmental performance.
• Strong track record of achieving sales volume, gross profit and targets.
• Experience with budgets, forecasting, margins and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales Department, coaching the team to deliver high performance and customer focus.
• Own dealership sales volume, revenue and front-end gross profit targets.
• Prepare budgets/forecasts and report performance to the Director.
• Analyse margins, discounts and market conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
• Oversee leads, CRM, conversion rates, and ensure timely follow-up and test drives.
• Manage stock levels, mix, allocation, demonstrators and ageing inventory.
• Oversee deal structure, discounting, F&I and trade-ins for profitability.
• Develop sales strategies in line with OEM objectives and campaigns.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience and CSI compliance.
