Job summary

Serco is seeking a General Practitioner to deliver high-quality healthcare at Cabarlah Health Centre located in Queensland. In this civilian role, you will provide essential medical services to Defence members, ensuring their health and wellbeing through comprehensive care.

About Cabarlah Health Centre

Cabarlah Clinic is located within Borneo Barracks, 14km north of Toowoomba. The barracks is home to the tri‑service Defence Force School of Signals’ Electronic Warfare Wing and has approximately 250 members. The Clinic provides primary medical, dental, nursing, mental health and physiotherapy services to the base. Clinic staff may be required to work across Cabarlah & Oakey. Standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700‑1630 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements).

What You Will Do

• Deliver high‑quality primary care to Defence members
• Provide Occupational Medicine services
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
• Conduct fitness‑for‑duty assessments and pre/post‑deployment care
• Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership

What You Bring

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
• FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
• Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient‑centred care
