Job summary

Serco is seeking a General Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care at Creswell Clinic, HMAS Creswell, NSW. This Defence-supported role offers on-base healthcare without Medicare billing, with stable hours and dedicated admin time.

You will deliver occupational medicine, chronic disease management and preventive care within a multidisciplinary team while enjoying relocation support, on-site parking, and uniform provision.

Qualifications

• Must hold unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.
• FRACGP, FACRRM, or vocational registration preferred.
• Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years in a general practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members.
• Conduct occupational medicine duties: fitness-for-duty assessments, pre/post-deployment care, injury management, chronic disease management, prevention.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary clinical environment to support patient wellbeing.

About Creswell

Creswell Clinic is located at Jervis Bay 2540 at HMAS Creswell on the east coast of NSW. Approximately a 20-minute drive from its sister base HMAS Albatross, the Creswell Clinic provides primary medical, nursing, mental health and physiotherapy services. It also supports the bi-annual intake of New Entry Officer Cadets and services up to 3200 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday to Friday.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
• Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount

What you bring

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
• FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
• Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five yearsin a General Practice Setting
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
