Job summary

Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is seeking a Staying Deadly General Manager for MATSICHS to lead culturally safe, multidisciplinary mental health and wellbeing care in the Moreton region. You will drive planning, integration and evaluation of Staying Deadly services while collaborating with IUIH teams.

You will engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, align service delivery with KPIs, and promote access to holistic care across mental health, AOD, and social

Qualifications

• Current Criminal History Check.
• Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).
• Current Working with Children\'s Check (Qld Blue Card).
• Current Disability Worker Screening Check (Qld Yellow Card).
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, or a genuine interest in expanding your skills, knowledge and capability to work in our sector.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and refinement of community engagement activities aimed at increasing promotion, awareness, access and uptake of Staying Deadly Services by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and families.
• Integrate teams and service functions across the Staying Deadly Business unit, aiming to eliminate barriers and secure continuity of care for clients and families.
• Lead the development, implementation and growth of an integrated service model for clients and their families in areas of mental health & wellbeing, alcohol and other drugs, social emotional wellbeing with a continuity of care and community-based approach.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the MATSICHS teams, continually refine and expand KPIs to capture outcome and impact measures that guide service delivery and are meaningful for clients and families.
