Job summary

Jp Smith Recruitment seeks a General Manager – Home Services in Toowoomba for a respected not-for-profit. You will lead around 30 staff across yard maintenance, home projects, home security, care management and in-home support, delivering funded services to help older people live independently at home.

Reporting to the COO, you will drive quality outcomes, manage budgets and governance, develop staff, and build strong relationships with funders and clients while guiding strategy for home

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a senior role, preferably in home services or similar field.
• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024 and Quality Standards.
• Proven ability to drive continuous quality improvement and change.
• Experience with budgets, reporting and risk management.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with funders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of quality Home Services outcomes and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and funding guidelines.
• Oversee Home Services budgets, risk management and reporting on outcomes.
• Develop staff performance, professional development and safety culture.
• Foster relationships with funders, clients and key stakeholders; manage new intake.
• Support growth via new opportunities, grants and strategic direction.
