Job summary

Respect, a leading aged care provider in Regional Australia, seeks a General Manager – Home Care to lead multi-state operations and drive sustainable growth. You will oversee Home Care and Wellness & Reablement programs, ensuring safe, person-centred care while achieving financial performance and regulatory compliance.

You will manage operational managers, care teams and cross-functional partners, shaping strategy and policy in a complex environment to enhance client outcomes and service quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience within aged care, home care or healthcare services with governance, service quality and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead strategy, service development and change initiatives within complex service environments.
• Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, regulatory requirements, quality standards and governance frameworks.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse operational data and translate insights into strategic actions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management across levels.
• Experience leading policy development, workforce capability initiatives and education programs.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with the ability to balance client outcomes and business needs.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain) and driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive Home Care strategy, sustainable growth, client retention and portfolio development across five states.
• Lead financial and commercial performance, including budgets, revenue, funding utilisation and margin improvement.
• Oversee high-quality, person-centred service delivery with consistent operational outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with aged care legislation, standards and organisational policies.
• Lead, coach and develop operational managers and care management teams with a values-led culture.
• Use performance data and client feedback to strengthen service delivery and achieve business objectives.
