Job summary

dnata catering & retail seeks a General Manager Finance at its Broadbeach HQ to lead the finance function and shape national financial performance.

Reporting to the CFO, you will drive strategic insight, governance and commercial outcomes while building a high-performing team across the business.

Qualifications

• Senior Finance leadership experience with strong technical and commercial expertise.
• Proven people leadership capability leading professional Finance teams.
• Experience with BI reporting tools and Oracle JDE ERP preferred.

About the Role

Based at our Headquarters in Broadbeach, we are seeking an experienced General Manager Finance to lead our Finance function and play a key role in shaping the financial and commercial performance of dnata catering & retail Australia.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will bring strategic insight, commercial discipline and strong people leadership to a complex, fast-paced national business. In this role you will:

• Lead financial stewardship across reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital, tax, audit and financial systems.
• Partner with the CFO and Executive team to turn financial insights into clear decisions, actions and results.
• Drive commercial performance across cost, productivity, profitability, pricing, contracts and investment decisions.
• Strengthen financial governance, controls and risk management while enabling practical business delivery.
• Lead Finance transformation, systems, reporting and process improvement to build a more efficient, scalable function.
• Build and develop a high-performing Finance team, with a strong focus on capability, leadership and succession.
• Act as a trusted partner to operational, corporate, customer, supplier and Group stakeholders.

About You

• You are a commercially minded Finance leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will bring:
• Senior Finance leadership experience including strong technical and commercial expertise
• Proven people leadership capability, with experience leading and developing professional Finance teams
• Relevant professional Accounting qualification and eexperience with BI reporting tools. Oracle JDE ERP experience is preferred.
• Full ongoing working rights in Australia and ability to pass all pre-employment checks, including National Police Check and medical assessments
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and professional standards.
• Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and integrity.
• Professional communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and respectfully.
