Job summary

Fabritecture is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the Asia–Pacific team into its next chapter. The role combines architecture, engineering, construction and creative problem‑solving to deliver technically complex projects that are noticed and remembered.

You will unite BD and Operations, translate strategy into regional plans and oversee delivery across APAC, collaborating with the Fabritecture USA team and partners while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the commercial and operational performance of the APAC business.

• Unite Business Development and Operations around one clear regional vision.

• Translate group strategy into practical regional plans and sustainable growth.

• Drive P&L performance, pipeline development, project conversion and profitable delivery.

• Develop strong relationships with clients, prospective clients and industry stakeholders.

• Oversee project delivery through the Head of Projects and act as an escalation point for significant issues.

• Oversee the business development function through the Director of BD, ensuring pipeline growth, opportunity conversion and regular visibility of performance to the Group CEO

• Manage regional budgets, costs and cash flow in partnership with Head Office Finance.

• Empower leaders and teams through clear delegation, accountability and development.

• Champion company Values and maintain strong safety, quality and compliance standards.

• Provide transparent financial and operational reporting to the CEO.

• Work collaboratively with the Fabritecture USA team, and our partners and suppliers.

What we're looking for

This role requires an experienced senior business leader who can operate across people, projects, commercial performance and business development.

• Proven senior leadership experience, ideally with previous General Manager responsibility.

• Relevant exposure to complex architectural projects, façades, tensile structures, or major commercial buildings.

• Experience working as a subcontractor to tier 1 builders.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management.

• Significant project delivery experience within construction, architecture or specialist contracting.

• Proven ability to lead business development and operational teams through senior leaders.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation capability.

• A collaborative, visible and decisive leadership style.

• Qualifications in engineering, architecture, project management or a related discipline are preferred. Additional qualifications in business would be advantageous.
