Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment in Brisbane is seeking an experienced architect to lead architecture teams on large-scale multi-residential, hotel, hospitality and education projects. This hands-on role offers ownership from concept through to completion and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements include a Masters in Architecture, 4+ years in practice, and proficiency with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. Queensland registration is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Architecture.
• Qld Architecture Registration highly regarded but not required.
• 4+ years experience within a professional architecture practice.
• Strong technical capabilities – Revit & Adobe Creative Suite is non-negotiable.
• Experience working within multi-residential sector in Brisbane.
• Strong documentation and project coordination skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality architectural outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients and consultants, building strong relationships.
• Develop project briefs, scopes of work and design strategies.
• Lead and contribute to concept design and design development within the architecture team.
• Oversee preparation and coordination of documentation and specifications through DA, tender, building approval and construction stages.
• Contribute to a collaborative studio environment with a strong design focus.

This is a hands-on role for an architect who’s looking for that next step in their career to get to lead architecture teams but also enjoys being involved throughout the project lifecycle. You'll work closely with clients and a range of internal and external stakeholders, playing an important role in shaping projects from initial brief through to successful delivery.
