TRYP by Wyndham Adelaide is looking for a commercially driven and hands‑on Hotel General Manager to join our leadership team.

This is not your traditional operations role. We are looking for a leader who understands that outstanding guest experiences and strong commercial performance go hand in hand. You will play a key role in leading the hotel's day‑to‑day operations while driving profitability, developing our people, and building a high‑performing culture.

You will take ownership of hotel operations across all departments, ensuring every department delivers exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the hotel, ensuring seamless delivery across all departments.


• Drive revenue performance by working closely with Revenue Management to maximise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.


• Take ownership of hotel cost control, labour management and departmental expenses to achieve budgeted profitability.


• Analyse financial performance, identify opportunities and implement initiatives that improve the hotel's bottom line.


• Foster a \"Hands-On One Team\" culture where collaboration, accountability and guest satisfaction are at the centre of everything we do.


• Build, coach and inspire department leaders to achieve outstanding operational and commercial results.


• Ensure exceptional guest engagement and actively resolve guest feedback to continually improve satisfaction scores.


• Maintain Wyndham brand standards, compliance, safety and operational excellence.


• Act as the General Manager's second-in-charge and confidently oversee the hotel in their absence.

About You

You are an energetic hospitality leader who enjoys being on the floor, leading from the front and delivering results.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous leadership experience in hoteOperations


• Strong commercial acumen with experience in cost control and financial management.


• Sound understanding of revenue management principles and hotel performance metrics including ADR, RevPAR and GOP.


• Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills.


• A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.


• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.


• The ability to work across multiple departments in a fast‑paced environment.


• Experience with hotel PMS systems (Opera experience highly regarded).
