Job summary
Zone IT Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on deploying GCP services, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust security and monitoring across environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on GCP experience, Terraform IaC expertise, and strong collaboration with DevOps and development teams to drive cloud optimization and migration initiatives.
Qualifications
- Hands-on GCP experience with cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services (GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL).
- Experience with Terraform and IaC tooling.
- Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, networking, and cloud security.
- Docker and Kubernetes experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage GCP cloud infrastructure and services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications.
- Configure cloud networking, IAM, security, monitoring, and logging.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps on cloud solutions.
- Support cloud migration, optimisation, and automation initiatives.
