Job summary

GJs Property Management in Sydney is seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Team Member/Gardener to join our growing team. You will be part of mobile maintenance crews servicing commercial and industrial sites within the Sydney metropolitan area.

This role has potential to grow into a Team Leader position for the right person, with opportunities for training, uniforms, and a supportive team environment. A hands-on, reliable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in garden maintenance (commercial or residential).
• A keen interest in soft landscaping and horticulture.
• Confidence using hand and small motorised tools.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• WHS White Card.
• National Police Check or be willing to obtain.
• A positive attitude and great people skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens on commercial and industrial sites within the Sydney metropolitan area.
• Assist mobile maintenance crews with routine garden tasks and clean-up.
• Operate hand and motorised tools safely and efficiently.
• Support longer-term landscaping projects as they arise.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client expectations.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Garden Maintenance Team Member /Gardener to join our growing team.

You will be part member of one of our mobile maintenance crews servicing commercial and industrial sites within the Sydney metropolitan area.

This position has the potential to grow into a Team Leader role for the right person.

About You

You’re hands-on, reliable, and take pride in your work. You enjoy working outdoors and know your way around a garden and various garden maintenance tools.

You’ll bring:

• Trade qualification in Horticulture (highly regarded, not essential)
