Job summary

Zenith Search is seeking a Gantry Crane Operator for our client in Herne Hill, WA. The role involves safe operation of overhead gantry cranes (10–50 tonnes) and moving large structural products within the yard. Immediate start, 40-hour weeks, Mon-Fri, 6:00am–2:30pm, with overtime as workloads rise.

You will hold an Intermediate Rigging RI and a White Card; Forklift Licence is desirable. Join a manufacturer with a strong safety culture and ongoing projects across WA.

Qualifications

• Experience operating overhead gantry cranes in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• RI ticket (Intermediate Rigging) is essential.
• White Card is essential.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Gantry Crane Operators with Intermediate Rigging (RI) to join a busy manufacturing operation. Commencing ASAP, you'll play a key role in the safe movement and loading of large structural products within the yard.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 40-hour week with overtime available as workloads increase

This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidates, with consistent work available as projects continue to grow.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely operating overhead gantry cranes ranging from 10 to 50 tonnes.

You’ll work closely with the production and yard teams to ensure the efficient movement and dispatch of products.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience operating overhead gantry cranes in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Minimum Intermediate Rigging (RI) ticket (essential).
• White Card (essential).
• Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
• Reliable transport and a current driver's licence to travel to Herne Hill.
