Job summary

HR Partners in Perth is seeking a skilled rigging professional for a long-term role in a global leader in building and precast infrastructure. This ongoing casual/temp position is based in a heavy industrial environment with regular day shifts and pathways to permanent employment.

You will join an experienced team, perform commercial rigging operations, and collaborate with crane operators to ensure safe, efficient material handling across the yard.

Qualifications

• High-Risk Work Licence RB/RI required.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing and precast yards.
• Ability to safely handle heavy loads and coordinate with crane operators.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging operations for heavy industrial manufacturing and precast concrete products.
• Safely lift and position precast items including pipes, sleepers, bridge tops and columns.
• Assist with overhead gantry crane setups and rigging loads.
• Read and interpret guides, load plans, and safety instructions daily.
• Maintain adherence to site safety guidelines, load limits and WorkSafe WA standards.

Duties

Perform commercial rigging operations for heavy industrial manufacturing and precast concrete product fabrication.

Safely lift, manoeuvre, and position precast items including concrete pipes, sleepers, bridge tops, and columns.

Assist with overhead gantry crane setups, rigging loads, and heavy material handling across the yard.

Read and interpret guides, load plans, and safety instructions for daily operations.

Maintain adherence to site safety guidelines, load limits, and WorkSafe WA standards at all times.

Skills & Experience

Current High-Risk Work Licence with Basic (RB) or Intermediate (RI) Rigging Licence.

Rigging experience within heavy manufacturing, precast concrete yards, structural steel, or civil infrastructure.

Ability to safely handle heavy loads and collaborate effectively with crane operators and yard staff.

A proactive, safety-first mindset with strong attention to site protocols and load stability.
