Australian Venue Co. is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead the gaming room at our Queensland venues, delivering strong commercial results while ensuring guest satisfaction and compliant operations.

You will own day-to-day gaming performance, coach your team, monitor KPIs and collaborate with the Venue Manager to drive promotions and responsible gambling initiatives across our network. This role requires flexibility to work peak hours, including evenings and weekends.

About the role

As Gaming Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading daily gaming operations and maintaining a strong floor presence
• Driving gaming revenue, performance and agreed KPIs
• Reviewing results and identifying opportunities to improve performance
• Supporting gaming promotions and customer engagement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with Queensland gaming legislation and responsible gambling requirements
• Maintaining harm-minimisation and self-exclusion procedures
• Managing operational audits, cash controls and reporting
• Recruiting, training, coaching and developing gaming team members
• Working closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team
• Delivering a welcoming and responsible experience for every guest

About you

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member
• Strong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs
• Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills
• A hands-on leadership style
• Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends
• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them
• A current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it
• Customer Liaison Officer experience is desirable but not essential
