Job summary

Workers Group in Blacktown is seeking a part-time Gaming Analyst to support reconciliations, reporting and cashflow analysis across gaming operations. The role is approx. 20 hours per week across 5 days, with flexibility including weekends.

You will collaborate with the Gaming and Finance teams, maintain gaming systems and investigate discrepancies to deliver timely reports. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in gaming at a licensed club or casino, strong numerical and analytical skills,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in gaming within a registered licensed club or casino environment.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Gaming Analyst or similar gaming reporting role; strong understanding of gaming operations, EGM reporting and gaming reconciliations.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting and reconciliation of payouts, tickets, note clearances and cashless clearances.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly gaming cashflow analysis and variance checks.
• Complete and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly EGM reports to key stakeholders.
• Maintain and administer the IGT CLUB Gaming System and other web-based gaming systems as required.
• Investigate gaming discrepancies and ensure appropriate adjustments and follow-up actions are completed.

Job description

Workers Group is a leading hospitality and entertainment group, operating venues that bring together dining, entertainment, events, sport and community.

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Gaming Analyst to join our Gaming Team and play an important role in supporting the accuracy and performance of our gaming operations.

The Role

This is a part-time position working approx. 20 hours per week across 5 days, with flexibility required across days, including weekends.

As Gaming Analyst, you will be responsible for gaming reconciliations, reporting, cashflow analysis, system administration and investigating gaming discrepancies. You will work closely with the Gaming and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective gaming operations.

Key Responsibilities

Complete daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting and reconciliation of:

• Payouts and tickets
• Note clearances
• Cashless clearances
• Gaming links
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly gaming cashflow analysis and variance checks.
• Complete and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly EGM reports to key stakeholders.
• Maintain and administer the IGT CLUB Gaming System and other web-based gaming systems as required.
• Complete cashless and MAG card reporting, including checks, investigations and adjustments.
• Investigate gaming discrepancies and ensure appropriate adjustments and follow-up actions are completed.
• Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure gaming reports and financial reconciliations balance accurately.
• Assist Gaming Team members and managers with gaming system queries and issues.
• Investigate and respond to customer gaming-related complaints and disputes.
• Prepare ad hoc gaming reports and analysis as requested.
• Identify trends, variances and issues within gaming data and provide meaningful information to support operational decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with club procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Gaming Team with other reporting and analytical requirements as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in gaming within a registered licensed club or casino environment.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Gaming Analyst or similar gaming reporting role.
  Strong understanding of gaming operations, EGM reporting and gaming reconciliations.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience working with gaming systems and data.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify the cause of variances.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Gaming, Finance and operational teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
