Job summary

Gameloft Brisbane is seeking a skilled Game Designer to shape action‑adventure gameplay. You will focus on gameplay systems and combat execution, collaborating with Senior Designers to translate vision into polished features.

You’ll prototype in Unreal Engine using Blueprints, tune combat feel, and script engaging encounters to maintain balanced pacing. A strong iterative mindset and teamwork are essential for delivering high‑quality gameplay experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of professional game design experience.
• At least one shipped title or significant contribution to a major project.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Unreal Engine, using Blueprints to implement features.

Responsibilities

• Support combat development by refining core combat mechanics and enemy AI behaviors.
• Execute gameplay features ensuring cohesive movement, interactions and loops.
• Design and script engaging combat encounters with level designers for balanced pacing.
• Prototype features in Unreal Engine to bridge concept and playability.
• Refine game feel by tuning timing, feedback, and responsiveness.
