Job summary

Berkeley Medical Centre in Kenmore, QLD is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our busy general practice. You will drive growth, support teams and deliver exceptional patient experiences, while taking ownership of operations and quality across the site.

The role requires leadership, financial oversight, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, with a focus on regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Practice Manager within General Practice.
• Strong working knowledge of Best Practice Software, Cubiko, HotDoc and Tyro.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Experience managing practice finances, billing and operational performance.
• Solid understanding of Medicare, accreditation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities for growth and implement business improvements.
• High level of initiative and accountability.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice and lead staff.
• Drive financial performance, business development and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance, accreditation and risk management across operations.
• Coordinate HR, finance, marketing and general business activities.
• Build strong relationships with doctors, staff, patients and stakeholders.
