Job summary

United Chemists North Shore is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist in Charge to oversee daily operations and support a collaborative team delivering exceptional community healthcare services.

The role involves dispensing medications, providing professional advice, vaccinations, and managing dispensary workflow while ensuring compliance with standards. Weekend work on a rotating roster is required; relocation expenses may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
• Current General Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Available to work weekends on a rotating roster
• Prepared to work as a pharmacist in charge at times (with training provided)

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Pharmacist Manager and team in the daily operation of the pharmacy
• Ensuring the accurate and safe dispensing of medications
• Providing professional healthcare advice and counselling patients on the quality use of medicines
• Delivering professional pharmacy services, including vaccinations and other clinical services where applicable
• Managing dispensary workflow to ensure efficient and compliant operations
• Maintaining compliance with all pharmacy legislation, professional standards, and company policies
• Building strong relationships with customers and local healthcare providers
• Supporting the achievement of pharmacy service, professional care, and business objectives
