Job summary

United Chemists North Shore is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist in Charge to lead day-to-day operations, support a collaborative team and deliver exceptional patient care in the local community.

You will oversee dispensing accuracy, provide counselling, vaccinations, and clinical services, and build strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers. Training is provided from day one, with relocation assistance available if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current General Registration with AHPRA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for weekend shifts on a rotating roster.
• Willing to act as Pharmacist in Charge with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Pharmacist Manager and team in the daily operation of the pharmacy.
• Ensuring the accurate and safe dispensing of medications.
• Providing professional healthcare advice and counselling patients on the quality use of medicines.
• Delivering professional pharmacy services, including vaccinations and other clinical services where applicable.
• Managing dispensary workflow to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
• Maintaining compliance with all pharmacy legislation, professional standards, and company policies.
• Building strong relationships with customers and local healthcare providers.
• Supporting the achievement of pharmacy service, professional care, and business objectives.
