The role involves working closely with the Pharmacist Manager, delivering vaccinations and clinical services where applicable, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current General Registration with AHPRA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work as pharmacist in charge (training provided).
• Available for additional shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
• Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications.
• Provide professional healthcare advice and counselling to patients.
• Deliver pharmacy services including vaccinations where applicable.
• Manage dispensary workflow to ensure compliant operations.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy legislation and company policies.
• Build relationships with customers and local healthcare providers.
• Support achievement of service and business objectives.

As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring professional standards are maintained while supporting your team to provide outstanding customer care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Pharmacist Manager and team in the daily operation of the pharmacy
• Ensuring the accurate and safe dispensing of medications
• Providing professional healthcare advice and counselling patients on the quality use of medicines
• Delivering professional pharmacy services, including vaccinations and other clinical services where applicable
• Managing dispensary workflow to ensure efficient and compliant operations
• Maintaining compliance with all pharmacy legislation, professional standards, and company policies
• Building strong relationships with customers and local healthcare providers
• Supporting the achievement of pharmacy service, professional care, and business objectives
