Job summary

Daly’s IGA Fresh Marketplace Koroit is looking for a motivated full time Deli Department Manager to lead the day to day operations in Koroit. You will coordinate stock, pricing, merchandising and ensure high standards of service and food safety.

Reporting to store leadership, you will manage rostering, drive waste reduction and maintain customer focus by building a positive, team oriented culture in a fast paced retail environment committed to fresh produce and quality.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and team player capable of leading a deli team.
• Retail or hospitality experience preferred, with full training provided for right candidate.
• Able to handle physical aspects of the role (cartons and pallets).
• Willing to work in a fast-paced hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day deli department operations in all areas.
• Manage stock control including ordering and product ranging.
• Ensure quality control and waste management.
• Drive sales through merchandising excellence and promotions.
• Maintain pricing and ticketing to market standards.
• Ensure compliance with labeling and origin requirements.
• Roster staff within store budgets.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture and high service quality.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for customers and team.
