Job summary

Arthouse Hotel in Sydney is seeking an experienced Chef to join its energetic kitchen team. You will work with a dedicated Head Chef in a fast-paced environment across a variety of cuisines and styles.

The role requires at least 3 years in a professional kitchen, a Cert IV or equivalent, and a flexible, well-presented approach with strong communication and food hygiene practices. Expect a rotating Mon-Sun roster and about 38 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' professional kitchen experience.
• Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation.
• Must have Cert IV or trade-equivalent qualification.
• Flexible attitude with clear customer-service skills.
• Immaculate grooming and presentation.
• Manage own section and deliver high-quality food.

You;

• Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills
• Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
• Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service
• Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices
• Availability for rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
• Job will require approx. 38 hrs per week.
