Hellenika at The Calile on James Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Breakfast Bar Supervisor to lead the morning service. You will oversee breakfast bar operations, ensure guest satisfaction and maintain coffee excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or senior hospitality experience in a busy café or restaurant.
• Strong barista skills and ability to work on a high-volume coffee machine.
• Experience leading, training and motivating a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Current Queensland RSA Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily breakfast bar operation, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Preparing consistently high-quality coffee and maintaining beverage standards.
• Leading, training and supporting the team throughout service.
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere and building genuine relationships with guests.
• Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider team to maintain service standards.
• Managing opening procedures, stock levels and general bar organisation.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.
