Job summary

MAS Espresso in Brisbane CBD is seeking an experienced Head Barista to lead our high-volume café. If you thrive during the morning rush, this role offers a Monday to Friday schedule and the chance to set the vibe, ensure consistency, speed, and quality across the bar.

You will supervise the cafe operation, manage a team during peak trade, train staff in latte art and machine calibration, monitor stock, and deliver outstanding customer service with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Most important: POSITIVITY.
• Proven Head Barista and/or Barista Supervisor experience.
• Strong specialty coffee skills: latte art, dial-ins, grind adjustments, machine calibration.
• Ability to lead a team and run a smooth, efficient bar during peak trade.
• Experience in ordering (coffee beans, packaging, milks).
• Passion for customer service and making someone's day with a smile.
• Reliable, proactive and calm under pressure.
• Monday to Friday availability; earliest start 5:45am, latest finish 3:45pm.
