Job summary

Jetty Lounge on Redcliffe Parade is seeking a skilled Barista / Front of House All-Rounder to manage the coffee station through the morning rush and assist with table service.

You will greet customers, take orders, process payments, and clear tables, keeping the cafe ready for the next guest. Weekend availability, RSA (preferred) and 6–12 months’ barista experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Around 6-12 months' barista experience in a busy café.
• Confidence running the machine on your own during a rush, including dialling in the grinder.
• Front-of-house experience: taking orders, table service and handling payments.
• Availability for weekend shifts.

• Keep the counter, floor and service areas clean and well stocked.

Job description

Jetty Lounge is a café on Redcliffe Parade, open for breakfast and lunch, Tuesday to Sunday.

We're looking for an experienced Barista / Front of House All-Rounder who is just as comfortable on the floor. You'll run the coffee station on your own through the morning rush. You'll also help with table service and clearing, and keep the café ready for the next customer.

Hours and pay

• This is a casual position. We expect to offer around 30-38 hours a week, but hours aren't guaranteed and will vary with the roster.
• Shifts usually run from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. We'll work out your days and times with you, but weekend shifts are part of the role. We occasionally trade on public holidays.
