Job summary

BP plc is seeking a Senior Supply Planning professional to lead product inventories, receipts, deliveries and customer supply in a hybrid work setup in Australia. You will optimise forward supply plans, coordinate with Trading & Shipping and negotiate to maximise commercial value while maintaining supply security.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, deep knowledge of refinery product supply chains, and strong data analytics with excellent cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Economics or Commerce.
• Understanding of refinery product supply chains including trading, shipping and terminals.
• Ability to work with large volumes of sophisticated data.
• Experience in operational businesses with supply chain operations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply scheduling, inventory, receipts and deliveries to customers.
• Develop forward supply plans and coordinate with T&S, Negotiation, and Supply Optimization.
• Nominate import requirements and coordinate vessel schedules and shipping activities.
• Lead responses to supply disruptions and manage product quality risks.
• Own operational execution of supply contracts and ensure contractual obligations.
• Lead working capital targets and monitor pricing exposure and performance.
• Collaborate with Trading, Logistics, Terminals, and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with bp policies and governance.
