Job summary

Drakes Samford is hiring for a role in the Fruit & Veg department. Reporting to the Fruit & Veg Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the store's Fruit & Veg section and help maintain great customer service.

You will contribute to rostering, orders and staff coaching, while enjoying a supportive team environment, on-the-job training, and a 10% staff discount for you and your family across Drakes stores.

Qualifications

• Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to supervise a team and coach colleagues.
• Strong commitment to customer service and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day running of the Fruit & Veg department.
• Help manage and coach the team, complete production, process orders, and generate rosters.
• Ensure high-quality display, stock control and customer service in a fast-paced store.

About The Role

Reporting directly to the Fruit & Veg Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the stores Fruit & Veg department, to ensure the smooth operation of the department and it's team.

If successful, you will be required to assist with managing and coaching the team, completing production, actioning orders, generating rosters + much more!

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
