Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a motivated leader to join the Calliope store's fruit & veg department. You will report to the Fruit & Veg Manager and oversee a small team, handling rostering, orders, and stock takes in a fast-paced supermarket setting.

This permanent part-time role offers on-the-ground coaching, hands-on leadership, and a strong emphasis on customer service, team development, and cost control within a supportive culture at Drakes.

Qualifications

• Fresh food retail knowledge is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Ability to order and control costs.
• Accurate roster creation.
• Hands-on approach with a customer-focused mindset.
• Commitment to WHS standards.

Responsabilités

• Manage a small team in the fruit & veg department.
• Create rosters and schedule staff shifts.
• Generate product orders and monitor stock levels.
• Complete regular stock takes and reporting.
• Collaborate with store leadership to drive sales and service excellence.

About this opportunity:

Our Calliope store is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join and assist leading the store's fruit & veg department.

Reporting directly to the Fruit & Veg Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!
