Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team on a six-month project focused on creating Community Services based learning programs for frontline employment services teams.

You will design learning solutions, develop engaging content, and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to build capability and improve outcomes across Australia.

Qualifications

• Significant instructional design experience across all learning modalities.
• Commercially minded, designing learning solutions aligned to business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments and meet deadlines.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills; able to influence outcomes.
• Analytical and solutions-focused, using data to identify capability gaps and learning opportunities.
• Organised and proactive, managing competing priorities and delivering to deadlines.
• Engaging facilitator for virtual and face-to-face learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging learning programs across multiple learning modalities.
• Partner with SMEs and leaders to translate complex information into practical learning solutions.
• Research and source external learning programs and providers to meet learning needs.
• Manage multiple learning projects, delivering outcomes on time and within scope.
• Monitor learning effectiveness, completion rates and feedback, using insights to improve outcomes.
• Support LMS administration, ensuring compliance and mandatory training requirements are met.
• Facilitate engaging training programs for diverse audiences across Australia.
