Job summary

Reqiva is partnering with a US-headquartered AI logistics platform, building its founding Australian engineering team as Forward Deployed Engineers. You will deploy and operate production systems for enterprise retailers, directly collaborating with customers and global product/AI teams.

You’ll own products from concept to live deployment, shaping infra and product direction across APAC while working with operators, CTOs and executives to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production software.
• Strong experience with APIs, backend systems or platform integrations.
• Comfortable moving between code, customer problems and architecture decisions.
• Experience owning production systems: reliability, monitoring, and supporting services after launch.
• A bias toward speed, iteration and ownership, and comfort working with ambiguity.
• A clear communicator who can work directly with operators, CTOs and executives.
• Motivated by building software that touches the physical world at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and operate production systems used by major enterprise retailers.
• Work directly with customers’ engineering, operations and leadership teams to understand their problems and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Take new products from concept to live deployment, then own and evolve them in production.
• Design and extend the core infrastructure behind global delivery orchestration.
• Partner with product and AI teams to shape product direction across APAC.
• Debug real-world logistics workflows across fleets, APIs and integrations.
