Job summary

QT Gold Coast, part of EVT, is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office and Reservations teams, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily hotel operations. You will report in the absence of Hotel leadership and drive profitability across departments.

You will bring strong occupancy/yield management, team leadership, budget oversight, and guest feedback skills to foster a high‑performing, guest‑centric environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of occupancy and yield management with a track record of maximising ADR and revenue.
• Excellent communication and leadership to develop high‑performing teams.
• Experience managing departmental budgets and costs.
• Experience handling guest feedback and driving service improvements.
• Skills in workforce planning and rostering aligned with operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front Office and Reservations operations to deliver seamless guest experiences and high team performance.
• Act as Manager on Duty when senior management is absent, monitor security and WHS compliance.
• Maintain lobby presence during VIP and group arrivals.
• Maximise occupancy and room rates through strategic planning and cross‑selling.
• Manage staffing and control expenses; prepare monthly financial reports for leadership.
