Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office and Reservations teams across its QT Hotels & Resorts portfolio. You will oversee daily operations, maximise occupancy and average room rate, and partner with leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage staffing, budgets and reporting, while fostering a sales culture through upselling and cross-selling across departments.

• Strong understanding of occupancy and yield management strategies to maximise occupancy, ADR and revenue.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience in managing departmental budgets, controlling costs and monitoring financial performance.

About the Role

As Front Office Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering our signature guest experience while ensuring seamless daily operations. You'll coordinate and oversee the running of the hotel in the absence of the Hotel Manager or Guest Experience Manager, with a strong focus on leading the Front Office team, managing front-of-house operations and driving profitability across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Front Office and Reservations departments to deliver seamless guest experiences and efficient team performance
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of senior management, monitoring hotel security and ensuring compliance with WH&S, company policies and grooming standards
• Maintain a lobby presence during VIP and group arrivals
• Maximise occupancy and room rates through strategic planning and collaboration, fostering a sales culture that promotes up-selling and cross-selling
• Manage staffing and control departmental expenses to meet operational needs and budget targets, preparing monthly reports to support financial controls with senior leadership
• Recruit, train and develop staff, conducting reviews, recognising achievements and supporting career growth
