Job summary

BreakFree Alexandra Beach is seeking a proactive Front Office Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and foster a cohesive, guest‑centric team. You will guide staff, manage reservations and guest accounts, and drive service standards to create memorable stays by the coast.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hotel Operations with history of leading a team as a Supervisor or Manager.
• Strong multitasking ability with solid organisational/time management skills.
• Proficiency in using reservation and property management systems (PMS).
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Flexible rotating schedule including nights, overnights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests and colleagues to ensure cohesive collaboration.
• Resolve guest dilemmas with creative solutions.
• Recruit, train, and mentor Front Office team; monitor performance.
• Adhere to OH&S requirements; respond to emergencies; ensure guest and staff safety.
• Manage reservations, guest accounts, and analyse reports and data.
• Monitor budgets, expenditure and revenue to inform operational decisions.
