Job summary

Journey Beyond is seeking a Duty Manager to lead and oversee Front Office operations at Monarto Safari Resort, delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will manage guest experiences, prioritise workloads, and coach the team to drive hotel performance while handling emergencies with calm professionalism.

The role requires nights, weekend and public holiday availability, a valid visa for Australia, and certifications in First Aid, CPR and RSA.

Qualifications

• Duty Manager experience in a hotel setting.
• Knowledge in NewBook is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills.
• Hold a valid visa with the right to work in Australia.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality guest service by managing guest experiences and hotel operations.
• Prioritise workload including task allocation to ensure the team delivers memorable experiences.
• Develop the team's skills to drive results that positively impact hotel performance.
• Have authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries or concerns.
• Be first point of contact for any critical emergency situations.
