Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is seeking a friendly Front Office All-Rounder to join our vibrant resort on the Sunshine Coast. You will support Front Office and Guest Services to create a warm, seamless experience from arrival to departure for our guests.

In this role you will welcome guests, assist with check-ins and departures, respond to inquiries, assist with luggage and porter services, and help with concierge requests and loyalty program promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel Front Office or a customer-facing hospitality role.
• Commitment to delivering great guest experiences.
• Confident communication and ability to connect with people.
• Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and pride in work.
• Comfortable using Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office; weekend/public holiday work.

Job Description

We’re looking for a friendly and adaptable Front Office All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a varied role where you’ll support our Front Office and Guest Services operations, helping create a warm and seamless experience for our guests from arrival through to departure.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins and departures


• Responding to guest enquiries and service requests


• Assisting guests with luggage and providing porter services


• Assisting with concierge enquiries including local recommendations, bookings and guest requests


• Promoting Accor loyalty programs and upselling opportunities


• Working closely with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences


• Completing guest records and general Front Office administration

Qualifications

• Has experience in hotel Front Office or a customer-facing hospitality role


• Has a genuine passion for creating great guest experiences


• Communicates confidently and enjoys connecting with people


• Is proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment


• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work


• Is comfortable using Microsoft Office; Opera Cloud experience is highly regarded


• Is flexible to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
