Job summary

Bridge Road Brewers in Beechworth, Victoria, is looking for a Front of House Shift Supervisor to deliver memorable guest experiences and support venue operations alongside the Venue Manager and Assistant Manager. This mid-level role includes duties as duty manager, opening and closing the venue, and guiding staff.

You will hold a VIC RSA certificate, demonstrate leadership, and bring a friendly, energetic approach focused on service quality, problem solving, and teamwork across rotating rosters

Qualifications

• Current VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (essential).
• People leadership or supervisory experience is desirable.
• Ability to manage a rotating roster and deliver high-level guest service.

About the role

The Front of House Shift Supervisor delivers a high level of customer service to all guests at BRB, which includes welcoming guests as they arrive and assisting with food and beverage service. This role supports the Venue Manager, Assistant Manager & offers guidance to all venue staff. This is a mid-level role includes Duty Manager responsibilities, such as opening and closing venue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage & supervise staff on rostered shifts
• Possess a high level of culinary and beverage knowledge
• Provide exemplary customer service to all guests
• Deal with complaints quickly, confidently, effectively and appropriately and inform the Venue Manager

About you

• Current VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (essential)
• People leadership or supervisor experience (desired)
• A friendly, energetic, and hard-working attitude and the ability to prioritise tasks
• High level customer service and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Capacity to walk, stand and speak for varying periods of time in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Capacity to walk up and down stairs frequently
