Job summary

Bridge Road Brewers in Beechworth, Victoria, is hiring a Packaging Supervisor to lead the packaging line and a small team. You will manage line setup, operation and pack-down, perform maintenance and ensure QA/QC under the Head Brewer, while handling forklift movements and inventory records in NetSuite.

The role requires experience on a beverage packaging line, a valid MR licence (or willingness to obtain), strong communication and readiness for a physical, hands-on environment in a craft beer

• MR truck licence or willingness to obtain.
• Clear communicator able to lead a team under pressure.
• Physically active and able to perform demanding tasks.
• Computer literate with production software experience.

Responsibilities

About the role

Reporting directly to the Head Brewer, you will be responsible for line setup, operation, quality control, maintenance and supervising a packaging team.

This includes:

• Lead setup, operation and pack-down of packaging line.
• Supervise, train and support a small packaging team while promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Perform line maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Manage QA/QC checks as directed by the Head Brewer.
• Safely handle loading/unloading of deliveries and moving stock with forklift.
• Production/inventory records in NetSuite.
• Maintain safe working practices and uphold all WHS compliance on the production floor.

What we are looking for

• Experience operating and supervising a beverage packaging line.
• Medium Rigid truck licence, or willingness to obtain.
• Clear communicator who can direct a team calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Comfortable in an active, physical role.
• Computer literate, with experience using production software.
