Job summary

Stomping Ground Brewery in Melbourne's Morris Moor Beer Hall is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead the front-of-house during service. You’ll be hands-on, energetic and capable of making quick operational decisions to keep crowds satisfied and operations smooth.

You will motivate a diverse team, manage shifts, and partner with the kitchen to deliver seamless food and beverage service in a fast-paced, award-winning venue.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role within a high-volume venue.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and coach a diverse team.
• Confidence managing shifts and making operational decisions.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach with availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current RSA certification.
• Love of great beer and genuine hospitality.

• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, presentation and venue atmosphere.

• Complete opening and closing procedures, cash handling and venue compliance.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance with policies.

THE GIG

We're looking for experienced Duty Managers to join our leadership team at Morris Moor.

As a Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the venue during service, ensuring our guests receive exceptional hospitality while supporting and motivating the front-of-house team. You'll be hands-on, energetic and confident making decisions in a busy, high-volume environment.

Whether it's leading a packed Friday night, managing functions, or ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, you'll be someone who thrives under pressure and loves creating memorable experiences for both guests and your team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
