Job summary

Cardiff RSL in Newcastle NSW is seeking friendly, reliable people to join our Front of House team across Reception/Door, Bar and Café. You’ll help create a welcoming experience for members and guests and work as part of a busy hospitality venue.

Duties include greeting, membership assistance, enquiries, taking orders, serving beverages, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, professional service area. RSA and RCG certifications are required for relevant roles.

Cardiff RSL is looking for friendly, reliable and customer-focused people to join our Front of House team.

We have opportunities available across Reception/Door, Bar and Café, and we're looking for people who enjoy working with others, providing great service and creating a welcoming experience for our members and guests.

Reception / Door

As one of the first faces our members and guests see, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience.

Duties may include:

• Greeting and assisting members and guests
• Reception and customer enquiries
• Membership assistance
• Entry and sign-in requirements
• Providing information about Club facilities and services
• Maintaining a friendly and professional front-of-house presence

Bar & Café

We're also looking for energetic team members to work across our Bar and Café areas.

Duties may include:

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Making coffees and café beverages
• Processing customer orders and payments
• Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented service areas
• Working together with the wider team during busy periods

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are:

• Able to work in a busy hospitality environment
• Well presented with strong communication skills
• Flexible with availability, including nights and weekends
• Committed to providing a great experience for our members and guests

Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an advantage; however, a great attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.

A current RSA and RCG will be required for relevant roles.
