The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum in Winton, Central West Queensland, is seeking a full-time Reception Centre Manager to lead its front-of-house team and ensure every visitor experience is memorable. You will manage a busy Reception Centre and related sites, oversee café and retail operations, and coordinate bookings, rostering and guest services.

An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Qualificações

• Proven experience leading teams in hospitality, tourism, retail or visitor services
• Hands-on experience with customer service, stock control, bookings and rostering
• Ready to relocate to Winton and work a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Queensland Blue Card and National Police Check, or the ability to obtain them
• Full Australian work rights, as visa sponsorship is not available
• Food Safety Supervisor, RSA, First Aid or CPR certification highly regarded

The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum in Winton, Central West Queensland, is home to the world’s largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils and welcomes more than 55,000 visitors each year. The Museum is seeking a full-time, fixed-term Reception Centre Manager to lead its front-of-house team and make every visit unforgettable. An immediate start is available.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Museum, you'll lead a team of supervisors and front-of-house staff across the Reception Centre and associated sites. You'll:

• Lead, mentor and roster a passionate front-of-house team
• Oversee café and retail operations, including stock and inventory
• Manage bookings and tour documentation through ResPax
• Coordinate accommodation services and third-party events
• Champion great service and find practical ways to improve how things run

About you

What's on offer

$70,000 to $85,000 (depending on experience) PLUS 12% Super, along with:

• A fully furnished cabin in the AAOD Staff Village at half the usual cost for your first 12 months
• A completion bonus after two years, subject to agreed terms and conditions

• A professional development allowance of up to $2,000 a year, after 12 months
