Job summary

Tower Lodge in the Hunter Valley is seeking a Front-of-House All-rounder to work across our restaurant, guest services, cellar door and events. You will welcome guests with warmth and professionalism from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate has experience in guest services or hospitality, is comfortable in fine dining settings, and can share local knowledge. Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays is required; Australian residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Guest Services, Front-of-house or Hospitality/Food Service Role.
• Experience in fine dining and knowledge of and interest in wine will be favourably viewed.
• High level of communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of the local area.
• High grooming and presentation standards.
• Confidence in dealing with guests from all backgrounds and nationalities.
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (or willing to obtain).
• Reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging with our guests providing a warm, welcoming and inclusive experience from arrival to departure.
• Work across our restaurant, guest services, cellar door and events.
• You must be available to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Tower Lodge, the Hunter Valley's only Luxury Lodge, is the embodiment of relaxed luxury with a uniquely Spanish flair nestled in the heart of Wine Country. Independently owned and operated, the venue comprises 14 unique and luxurious suites and a restaurant that celebrates a vast array of local produce in a fine dining setting that not only caters to our guests, it is also open to the publicand receiving rave reviews. Tower Whiskey Distillery, the Hunter's first whiskey distillery and cellar door is located on the same property at Tower Lodge and creates premium small-batch, single barrel whiskies. We are now looking for a Front-of-House All-rounder to work across our restaurant, guest services, cellar door and events.

In this role you will be proactively engaging with our guests providing a warm, welcoming and inclusive experience from arrival to departure. This is a casual and/or full-time position.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will be professional, energetic and reliable, as well as being able to demonstrate:
