Visy is seeking a heavy vehicle driver based at our Carrara depot for constant multi-stop collections across the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas. You will operate HR-class trucks, perform daily safety checks, and maintain accurate in-cab records.

Commitment to safety, punctuality, and regulatory compliance is required. This full-time role offers consistent shifts, with optional weekend work and a modern, safety-first fleet.

Qualifikationen

• HR Licence with minimum 2 years' Australian driving experience.
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Excellent communication, time management and teamwork.
• Strong understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• Pride in presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.

Aufgaben

• Operate HR vehicles collecting recyclables across Brisbane and Gold Coast metro.
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Ensure timely collections and deliveries while following schedules.
• Complete in-cab electronic reporting and required documentation.
• Comply with policies and transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility.
• Collect CDS containers.

Routes: Collecting from our Customer network delivering to Visy sites in Gold Coast and Brisbane areas.

Locations: Based out of our Carrara depot

Hours: AMstart 10-12 hour shifts 5 days per week (optional Saturday and Sunday work)

What you'll do

• Operating Heavy Rigid rear lift waste collection vehicles performing collections of Recyclable materials from our network of Customers, throughout Brisbane and Gold Coast metro area.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Ensure timely and efficient collections and delivery of materials, maintaining adherence to schedules.
• Accurately complete in-cab electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Collection of CDS containers.

What you'll bring

• A valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
