ARK FRESH PRODUCE PTY TLD T/A T-GARDENS FINE FOODS in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Fresh Produce Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day department activities, ensuring fresh stock, accurate pricing, and compelling displays.

You will manage deliveries, verify invoices, plan promotions, supervise staff, and monitor stock levels to minimise wastage while maintaining high presentation standards across the store layout.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant experience in fresh foods or supermarket environments.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, shrinkage, and stock turnover.
• Strong leadership and staff coaching abilities.
• Experience creating attractive, brand-aligned product displays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Fresh Produce department in the fresh food section.
• Manage deliveries, verify invoices, and handle credit claims for damaged stock.
• Plan displays, promotional bins, and seasonal marketing campaigns.
• Implement FIFO principles to manage best before dates and minimise wastage.
• Ensure aisles are clear of hazards and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise overstock and out-of-stock issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and wastage.
• Recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff.
