Job summary

Coles Group is seeking a Fresh Produce Manager in Rowville to lead the daily operations of the fresh produce department. You will ensure exceptional store presentation, stock control, and a high standard of customer service for shoppers and colleagues alike.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll drive a one-team culture, coach and develop staff, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering strong results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Direct leadership experience to lead, coach and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering requirements.
• Maintain department standards including monitoring stock, rotation routines, waste and quality control.
• Drive a one team culture which celebrates success and puts our team members health, safety and wellbeing first.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll have full accountability for the day-to-day running of our fresh produce department.
• Lead, coach and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering requirements.
• Ensure store standards for presentation, stock levels, quality control, and freshness across the produce area.
• Manage stock rotation, waste minimisation and shrinkage controls.
• Promote a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for customers and staff.
