Job summary

Candii is partnering with a privately owned international freight forwarder seeking a freight professional to support and coordinate end-to-end export operations in Perth. The role focuses on air or sea exports, handling bookings, customs, and documentation.

You will manage multiple files, communicate with clients and carriers, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining high compliance standards. A team-first culture and ongoing development opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 3+ years freight forwarding across air or sea export.
• Strong documentation knowledge.
• Confident using CargoWise in a high-volume environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Clear communicator with a team-first, client-focused approach.
• Full working rights (AU / NZ).
• Located In Perth.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air or sea export shipments via CargoWise.
• Handle pre-alerts, bookings, customs clearance, and documentation.
• Track shipments, update clients, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate delivery, PODs, and close files accurately.
• Control detention/demurrage and ensure compliance standards.
• Complete costing, invoicing, KPI reporting, and reconciliations.
• Liaise with clients, customs, carriers, and raise non-conformances.
