Job summary

Qantas Group is seeking a Flight Analyst Freight to maximise freight revenue across the network. Based at Mascot HQ, you will analyse market trends, demand patterns and network performance to optimise capacity and yield, supporting commercial decision-making.

You will own a portfolio of markets, implement revenue management strategies, monitor performance, identify opportunities and influence cross-functional teams in Pricing, Sales and Revenue Management to balance demand and capacity.

Qualifications

• Experience in revenue management, commercial analysis, aviation, logistics, freight, pricing or a similar commercially focused analytical environment.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate insights into commercial recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience making sound commercial decisions and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships, influencing Sales, Pricing, Operations and Commercial teams to align decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial decisions that optimise freight revenue across the Qantas Freight network.
• Partner with Revenue Managers, Pricing and Sales teams to maximise demand, capacity and yield performance.
• Own and manage a portfolio of markets to implement revenue management strategies and monitor performance.
• Provide data-driven insights to balance demand and capacity while delivering revenue outcomes.
