Job summary

Direct Couriers in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Freight Coordinator to join a fast-paced logistics team. You will process freight bookings, coordinate inbound and outbound freight, and ensure consignments move efficiently through the network.

You will collaborate with customers, drivers, dispatch, operations and warehouse teams to meet service standards. Ideal candidates will have freight/logistics experience, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

• Previous experience within freight forwarding, warehousing, transport or logistics is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a proactive, reliable and cooperative approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Our Freight Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience or an interest in freight, transport, and logistics who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Freight Manager, you will be responsible for processing freight bookings, coordinating inbound/outbound freight and ensuring consignments are accurately processed and moved through our network.

You will work closely with customers, drivers, dispatch, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure freight is handled efficiently and customer requirements are met.
