Qualifications

• Strong hands-on creative skills with a solid understanding of professional post-production workflows.
• Proven experience leading or directing teams of motion designers, editors or post-production practitioners.
• Advanced understanding of generative AI tools and their application to commercial creative production.
• Experience developing and implementing AI-assisted workflows across video, imagery and animation.
• Strong technical capabilities, including scripting, automation and custom workflow development.
• Experience working with APIs, custom tools, plugins or production pipeline automation.
• Strong understanding of traditional post-production processes, including editing, motion graphics, VFX, colour and finishing.
• Excellent creative judgement with the ability to balance technical possibilities and visual quality.
• Confident communicating technical concepts to creative teams, clients and senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable solving complex creative and technical challenges independently.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative and technical execution of AI-integrated post-production projects.
• Work hands-on across creative technology, post-production and AI-assisted content creation.
• Guide and support teams of motion designers, editors, animators and technical specialists.
• Develop innovative workflows combining traditional post-production with generative AI tools.
• Translate creative briefs into practical production strategies across video, animation, imagery and audio.
• Design and implement custom tools, scripts and automation to improve production efficiency.
• Oversee AI and technology workflows across the wider business, establishing best practices and processes.
• Develop repeatable production pipelines that maintain creative quality and visual consistency.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges across AI generation, rendering, animation and post-production.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor creative practitioners and help build technical capabilities across the studio.
• Stay across emerging AI platforms, post-production technologies and new creative opportunities.
